TWOSOME was the 1990
recipient of a $10,000 Fellowship Award in Playwriting from the
Massachusetts Artists Fellowship Program. It received a staged reading at
the Unicorn Theater in Kansas City, Missouri, and received its first
equity production at the Boston Playwrights Theatre, in 1993 under the
artistic direction of 1992 Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, where I received
an M.A. in playwriting from Boston University. |
TWO MEN LOSING THEIR MINDS received a full equity production that extended and ran for two months in the summer of 2000, produced by Moving Arts, at the Los Angeles Theatre Center; and received both a Critic’s Pick from ‘Backstage West’ and Pick of the Week from ‘LA Weekly’.
FROSTPROOF received full development at the 1995 New Harmony Project, directed by Jim Houghton, founding director, Signature Theatre Company, NYC and featured actress Sherry Stringfield of NBC’s “ER”. LINDBERGH VARIATIONS was developed at the 1997 New Harmony Project.
29 PINE was sent to the final selection committee at the 1995 Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference, and received a staged reading at the Playwrights’ Kitchen Ensemble, Coronet Theatre, Los Angeles in July 1997.
